If you're a fan of the Beats Fit Pro for your workouts, get ready for an upgrade. Beats just announced the next evolution of their super popular fitness earbuds, rebranding them as the Powerbeats Fit and giving them some pretty sweet improvements.
For years, the Powerbeats line has been a go-to for athletes and gym-goers who need their music to stay put, no matter how intense things get (read more on those earbuds here). The new Powerbeats Fit takes everything that was great about the Beats Fit Pro and makes it even better, focusing on comfort, stability, and durability.
A Better, More Comfortable Fit
One of the biggest complaints about any workout earbud is how they feel and if they stay in your ear. Beats has clearly been listening.
The Powerbeats Fit features a redesigned wingtip that's 20% more flexible than the old one. What does this mean for you? It means the earbuds should tuck more gently and securely into your ear, giving you that locked-in feeling without being uncomfortable. Whether you're running a marathon or just hitting the treadmill, these are designed to stay put.
To make sure you get the perfect seal, they also come with four different sizes of ear tips in the box (extra-small, small, medium, and large).
Built to Survive Your Toughest Workouts
We all get sweaty at the gym, and sometimes we get caught in the rain on a run. The Powerbeats Fit are built for that. Both the earbuds and the charging case have an IPX4 rating, which is a technical way of saying they're resistant to sweat and water splashes from any direction.
Speaking of the case, it's now 17% smaller, making it way more pocket-friendly. Tossing it in your gym bag or pocket is now even easier.
The Sound You Expect from Beats

Of course, fit and durability don't matter if the sound is bad. The Powerbeats Fit deliver that powerful, balanced sound Beats is known for. They also pack some impressive audio tech to make your music, movies, and games sound incredible.
Personalized Spatial Audio: This is a cool feature that makes sound feel like it's coming from all around you. If you turn your head, the sound adjusts, making it feel like you're right in the middle of the action. It's super immersive.
Active Noise Cancelling (ANC): Want to block out the distracting sounds of the gym? Turn on ANC to silence the world around you and focus on your music or podcast.
Transparency Mode: When you're running outside, you need to be aware of your surroundings. Transparency mode uses microphones to let outside sound in, so you can hear traffic and stay safe without taking your earbuds out.
Smarts, Battery, and Everything Else
Thanks to the Apple H1 chip inside, Powerbeats Fit work seamlessly with iPhones and other Apple devices. They'll pair instantly and can automatically switch between your iPhone, iPad, and Mac. If you're on Android, the Beats app gives you one-touch pairing and customizable controls.
Battery life is solid, offering up to seven hours of listening time on the earbuds alone, with a total of 30 hours when you include the charging case. That's enough to get you through a week of workouts without needing to plug in. And if you're ever in a rush, a quick five-minute "Fast Fuel" charge gives you an extra hour of playback.
Pricing and Availability
The Powerbeats Fit are available to order starting today, September 30th, for $249.95 CAD. They come in four colours: Jet Black, Gravel Gray, Spark Orange, and Power Pink. You'll find them on store shelves starting October 2nd.
