OnePlus is updating their flagship OnePlus 13, and now we've got our first look at the upcoming OnePlus 15.
First up, yes. They've skipped 14 in their numbering convention and gone right to 15.

They had previously revealed a few key points about the phone:
- Release Date: The OnePlus 15 model will be available earlier than past years, with a launch date in Canada of November 13th.
- Processor: This phone will be the first smartphone in Canada powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon's 8 Elite Gen 5 mobile platform.
- Battery: This will be the largest battery ever in a OnePlus phone at 7,300 mAH, which will support fast charging and high-speed wireless charging.
- Cameras: OnePlus will be adding a custom Sony sensor to the 32 MP front camera to support new features like autofocus.
- Display: For gamers, this is going to be a beautiful device. It will support up to 165Hz refresh rate (on select titles) and has an always-on 120 FPS gameplay mode.
For anyone concerned about physical vs. eSIM, the upcoming OnePlus 15 models will maintain a physical SIM tray.
We also now know one of the finishes the phone will be available in after OnePlus showed off the new Sand Storm edition.
The finish is made with "aerospace-grade Micro-Arc Oxidation" (MAO), which provides a unique look. The model will be harder than both titanium and aluminum, while supposedly being very light.

That phone had a beautiful display, the AI features running in the background genuinely enhanced the user experience (quickly stabilizing videos when your hand is shaking on a Zoom, or stitching together several photos to balance lighting and focus for the best possible shot, or managing battery life and performance during gaming sessions).

Since the launch of the OnePlus 12, the company really shifted beyond being a device for tech enthusiasts, and being one for the every person. It seems the OnePlus 15 is poised to continue down this path, and we'll be waiting eagerly for that November release date.
