Charge Everything!: SwanScout Pixel Charging Station

It is extremely hard to find a multi-device charger to top up the battery of all your Google devices at once. There's an abundance of iPhone options, but us Pixel users are snubbed in this category. Enter SwanScout. The SwanScount 703G2 is a beautiful option that works with Pixel 9 (all models), Pixel Watch 2 (and 3), as well as your Pixel Buds (or any earbuds with a wireless charging case). It also folds up completely compactly so you can easily take it with you to travel. You'll have to provide your own charging brick (and we have a recommendation below) but this absolutely the best option we have ever used for charging and displaying our beloved Google Gadgets.

Geeking Out Shop Razer Kishi Ultra Shop

Get Your Game On: Razer Kishi Ultra

The Razer Kishi Ultra is our top pick for gaming on Pixel 9 devices. One of the main reasons a mobile gaming controller leads to a subpar experience is the phone doesn't fit precisely in the controller. With the large camera module on the Pixel 9 lineup, this is a big problem. However, we've tested the Kishi Ultra with Pixel 9, 9 Pro, 9 Pro XL, and even 9 Pro Fold, and can confirm it fits well! While this controller is actually designed for small tablets, it works great for Pixel 9 thanks to its versatile sizing options, the in-game haptics, and the excellent (and free) Nexus app for organizing your game library and configuring your controller.

Smart Watch: Pixel Watch 3

The Pixel Watch lineup has come a long way since it first launched, and the biggest upgrades in the 3rd generation have to do with battery life and fitness features (get caught up quickly here). Since Google bought Fitbit in 2021, it's probably no surprise that the Pixel Watch 3 is a great fitness companion, giving you a daily readiness score and now offering really great AI running features to keep you motivated and progressing with your training. The smart home controls work amazing with devices like the Google TV Streamer, Nest Learning Thermostat, and generally any Google gadget.

Geeking Out Shop Fitbit Inspire

Fitness Tracker: Fitbit Inspire 3

If you don't need all the bells and whistles of a smart watch, but want a fitness tracker that will integrate perfectly with your new Pixel 9, it's tough to pass up the Fitbit Inspire 3. It focuses on the core fitness tracking metrics but also more advanced things when you're further along in your fitness journey (like active Zone minutes if you're targeting that key Zone 2 training). Plus it tracks your sleep, can help you manage stress, and can receive key notifications from your Pixel 9, all while providing 10-day battery life. The Fitbit Charge 6 is more powerful, but for overall value, we suggest the Fitbit Inspire 3.

Geeking Out Shop Spiegen Pixle 9 Clear Case

Pixel Clear Case: Spigen Phone Case

The Pixel 9 lineup (from the regulars to the Pros) come in some beautiful finishes. On the one hand, you wanna protect your pricey new phone, but on the other, you don't want to cover up it's beautiful finish! That's where a quality clear case comes in. Now, there are a LOT of clear case options, some of which cheaper than what I am suggesting. But the reason I chose these ones from Spigen is that in addition to being extremely resilient, the clear case won't yellow over time (this can often happen with the cheaper cases). If you're planning on upgrading your Pixel each year, then just get a cheap clear case. But if you're keeping the phone for the long haul, spend the extra $7-$8 and get the Spigen one for a long-lasting, nice-looking, clear view of your Pixel 9.

Geeking Out Shop Amazon Basics 65 W Fast Charger

Pixel Fast Charger: Fast Charger

One of the selling features of the Pixel 9 is the faster charging speed (varies based on model, but basically battery charges halfway in just under 30 mins). However, you can't actually tap into those fast charging speeds unless you have a proper fast charger. The one I'm suggesting here is a bit overpowered, for your Pixel 9 but provides you extra versatility if you're gonna be buying a charging brick anyway. In addition to fast charging your Pixel 9, this 65 Watt charger has enough power to be used with a laptop or tablet (when you're not using it for your phone). Plus the prongs fold up, making it easier to take with you when you're on the go.

Geeking Out Shop Amazon Basics Usb C Cable White

Extra Cables: Long USB C Cable

All Pixel 9 phones come with a cable. But depending on where you're charging this thing up, you may need a bit of extra length. For convenience sake, it's great if you can leave a cable on the main floor and another in your bedroom (or wherever your charge up your phone for the evening) but can also have one long enough to run behind a couch or tablet to easily reach an outlet. This two-pack of Amazon basics cables gives you 6 feet of length. Provided you have a USB C style charger on hand (and if you don't buy the one I suggested in the previous write up) these will be a great option for keeping your Pixel 9 conveniently charged. Through the link below you can also switch to a 9 foot option if you need a LOT of extra length.

Pixel 9 Wireless Earbuds: Pixel Buds Pro 2

The Pixel Buds Pro 2 have been phenomenal in my testing. The active noise cancellation (tuning out background sounds) is incredible both for your listening experience but also if you're ever chatting on the phone using your Pixel Buds. There's lots of room to customize the controls for tapping and tap and hold for each individual bud and you can even customize the music EQ (something that most buds won't let you do). The design is very comfortable and allows you to twist the bud for a looser or tighter fit depending on what you're doing (twist and tight for vigorous exercise, looser for working at your desk). If you want the very best wireless earbud experience with your new Pixel phone and are okay with a premium price tag for a premium product, I can't recommend the Pixel Buds Pro 2 enough.

Good Alternative Earbuds: Beats Solo Buds

If the Pixel Buds Pro 2 are out of your price range, that's understandable. For a good wireless earbud option that works well with Pixel 9 and costs a bit less, consider the Beats Solo Buds. You'll get 18 hours of battery life between the charge from the buds and the case. You can top up the battery for an hour of listen time after only 5 mins. The case is extremely small and compact. And the buds have very good acoustic qualities. You don't get wireless charging or active noise cancellation, but you can control your device with voice commands or through pressing on the buds. They come in 3 different colours, including a very cool translucent red version.

Having used all four of the Pixel 9 phones, I absolutely love the lineup (and often waffle between which is my favourite - generally it's the Pixel 9 Pro (not XL) but I LOVE the Fold, too).

There's not a single bad choice with Pixel 9, because even the base version is so capable between the actual hardware and the enhancements available through the software and AI.

Hopefully you found this collection of accessories helpful. If there's something that I missed that you think is an absolute essential item for passionate Pixel fans to have, please leave a comment below!
