Peloton just announced a major refresh of hardware and software to make your at-home workouts smarter.
The focus is on personalized guidance while expanding the different ways people can train and move toward their unique fitness, wellness, and longevity goals.
Everyone wants something different out of their exercise time, and Peloton is making sure they have a solution to help people fulfill their specific needs.
Let's start with the hardware. Whether you like to work out on a bike or a treadmill, Peloton has new offerings that were just announced.
New to Canada specifically, the Peloton treadmill is finally making its way to our country.
The new Peloton Cross Training Series Tread+ launches in Canada alongside a new bike, the Peloton Cross Training Bike+.
The products have been redesigned, with smarter screens being a focal point on the new hardware. The new Bike+ has a more ergonomic seat, so you'll be comfortable, even on your longest rides.
The Peloton Bike+ is available for $3,495. The Cross TrainingTread+ is $8,395.
A Smarter WOrkout with Peloton IQ
Smarts are a key to the newly-announced, AI-powered, Peloton IQ. This platform takes your cardio and strength training to a new personalized level.
It can monitor your workouts, track your progress, and even enhance the metrics and streaks you can track between classes. Additionally, it will provide guidance to improve your form.
Both devices have a 23.8-inch touch-display with a three-speed fan mounted in the display. Sonos speakers allow you to blast your favourite tunes or hear the encourgement and cues from your trainer during your workouts.
The screen can swivel, allowing you to have the perfect viewing angle when you're working out on the machine, or performing strength and mobility training near the Peloton equipment.
